Recommendation of use

Wondering how to use this spreadsheet?

No Problem!

These are the steps I urge you to follow to make the use of the spreadsheet smoother:

1. Decide on the starting of your month (I started with November 2016 as that's the current month as of the time this is posted)
2. Put in your allowances and other incomes first, up to the last month of the last year of your studies/as long as you want to.

*Notice at the top left box, how much money you'd be able to bring back home at the end of your final study? That's your highest possibility*

3. Include your monthly savings up to the last month of the last year you plan to make.
4.Next, put in all your "essential" spendings such as Rent, Groceries, Phone bills and others.

*Look at how much of your maximum total savings left to be brought home has dropped?*

5. Finally, you decide on the amount of money you want to have by the end of your studies and gauge/edit your non-essential expenditure such as Daily Spendings, Travelling, and clothes to reach that goal.

And.... THAT'S IT!!!!

You're done.

But... My final recommendation is to have two copy of the excel sheets. One for budgeting your savings/expenses. The other is to record your real time expenditure and compare your performance between the two.

It makes all the more difference if you start taking control now!
I wish you all the best.
